What do you believe is the purpose of a college education?
I think that the purpose of a college education is to get a degree to help you succeed in the future. College is very beneficial and can only help you in the future. I don't think going to college is necessary because I know people who didn't go to college and they are doing just as well. But I do feel like college brings a ton of opportunities and advantages. For example if an employer is looking at you and someone else, they will see that you have a degree and that education.
What does it mean to be educated?
To me being educated means having knowledge not just in the books but also in every day kind of things. You should have both common sense but also book smarts too.
I'm undecided and I still have no idea what I want to do. I talked to a girl here majoring in Management and she wants to event plan. I've been looking more into that because I feel like that's something I would definitely like to do. I'm usually really good with organizing and all of that.
